“They’re Wonderful,” Keanu Reeves’ Co-Star Shares Rare Insight Into His Romance With Alexandra Grant

Keanu Reeves is so secretive about his personal life that we sometimes forget he’s been in a happy committed relationship for nearly 6 years. So far, we’ve only received small bits and pieces about his life with Alexandra Grant. But now, one of Reeves’ co-stars is spilling the beans on how the happy couple is in real life, and they sound too good to be true.

They prefer to keep their relationship behind closed doors.

The John Wick star got very lucky with Alexandra Grant, as the 2 started out as friends after meeting in 2009. By 2017, the 2 discovered they had so much in common that staying apart was no longer an option. They did, however, keep their relationship to themselves and only made their first public appearance as a couple in 2019.

Since then, the lovebirds have kept mostly to themselves and don’t even comment on their private life together. Lucky for us, the release of John Wick: Chapter 4 didn’t only bring us a spectacular performance from Reeves — as always, of course — but also some insight into the star’s personal life.

They’re as great as we’ve always imagined.

Reeves’ John Wick co-star, Rina Sawayama, opened up about meeting Grant while working with Reeves. The actress got lucky enough to witness the famous couple in the most casual settings, and she was left completely charmed by Reeves and Grant.

Sawayama said, “They’re wonderful. We actually were able to spend some time in Berlin...had some dinners, and it was great group dinners and that was wonderful. Beautiful, beautiful as a couple, beautiful people.”

Sawayama also got the chance to attend Grant’s exhibition with them, and the experience was lovely. “They’re just very normal, honestly. It just felt really natural and just human. I don’t know again, like I’ve used the word ’celebrity’ because often I feel like Keanu can switch off his celebrity, and I’ve really felt that way when he was with Alexandra. It just, it was beautiful. It was honestly, it was like, a whole thing,” the actress revealed.

They’re quite close to marriage.

Things are going great for Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant. So great, in fact, that Reeves is afraid of ruining their perfect relationship. A source revealed that the actor has a wedding ring ready but is afraid to propose because he won’t be able to handle the rejection.
