20 People Who Proudly Followed in Their Parents’ Footsteps, and It’s More Than Moving

Some children look like mini versions of their parents when they’re small but some kids go further and follow in their parents’ footsteps as adults. They become police officers, pilots, teachers, and DJs to be more like their role models and make their parents proud. Some even continue a long-standing family tradition of passing the same job down from generation to generation!
We at Bright Side are fascinated by touching family stories and we’d like to share some of them to prove that some things just run in the family.
1. “This Delta flight was piloted by a mother and daughter flight crew. Pretty inspiring.”
2. “Nearly 30 years elapsed. Just before my retirement, we re-created my favorite photo of my oldest son and me.”
3. Some things just run in the family.
4. A child’s dreams are meant to come true.

9. “My sister teaches at the same high school I went to. Here she is, following in our parents’ protesting footsteps.”
10. “My father was in law enforcement for 40+ years. My sister just graduated from the academy! So proud of her!”
11. “3 years ago I made a post about my father and how he was my hero. 3 years later I’m following in his footsteps and working with him.”

20. “The grandfather, the father, and the son”

I didn't follow my parents footsteps at all. I'm a make up artist :)
Weird, because it was just vice versa with me and my family. I got a tattoo some years ago, my dad got so inspired by it and got a tattoo too ?
I didn't follow in either of my parents footsteps! In fact I have little in common with either of them! I have my father's temper and my mother's artistic streak but that's it.
hope I'll get to be a teacher like my mother at NSU
