Giving birth is a wonderful but challenging experience, so it’s crucial to get mentally ready for it. As her due date approaches, Hilary Swank is making sure everything is set for her first childbirth. Aside from all the serious logistics and medical stuff, the Hollywood star seems to know how important it is to be able to relax and keep fear at bay while in labor. And she even turned to her fans to ask for their opinions on a couple of crucial matters.

Hilary Swank asked a ’’very important’’ question.

The 48-year-old actress, who is expecting twins, will become a first-time mom this April. Ever since she shared the happy news with the world in October 2022, her fans have been supporting her and eagerly following her pregnancy journey. This time around, Swank asked her Instagram followers for a bit of help.

’’I have a very important question for you. I’m making a playlist for my delivery,’’ Swank shared online, asking her followers if she should use the ’80s hit “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa for this occasion. As the actress started dancing to the music, she explained she wasn’t sure when to play the song, ’’first, last, or more in the middle’’ of giving birth.

She wowed us with her dance moves.

’’You are hilarious! You have no idea what you’re getting into. If you’re having an amazing natural birth, you won’t even care what’s playing or who’s watching. You will only care for healthy babies to get out,’’ one fan wrote, while another one advised, ’’I would say use it early before labor gets too difficult. Once you hit transition...you will NOT want that song.’’

Swank’s celebrity friends also intervened. ’’My entire delivery playlist was ’90s hip hop. I have a video of my husband, best friend, and my mom dancing to the playlist while I was in labor,’’ Alyssa Milano wrote, and Lindsay Lohan cheered Swank on, writing, ’’You’re the best!’’
