hm..I wear creams with sunscreen and also apply normal sunscreen on my face.
I think that sometimes SPF in my cream is not enough to protect my face
7 Skincare Mistakes That Can Give You Acne

Some surprising factors like brushing your teeth and washing your face at the same time can increase your risk for acne. You may feel like you’re doing everything you’re supposed to be doing for your skin, but the breakouts still won’t clear up. As it turns out, there’s likely an underlying reason for that.
We at Bright Side have done some research to find out which skincare mistakes may be sabotaging your efforts for healthy and clear skin.
1. Using makeup wipes
Although makeup wipes themselves are unlikely to cause breakouts, they can leave behind dirt and makeup residue that may lead to acne. Wipes contain alcohol, fragrances, and other ingredients that can dry out the skin. If your skin is sensitive, there is a chance that rubbing will irritate it and cause swelling and inflammation that can block your pores.
2. Using the wrong sunscreen
While it’s important to protect your skin against the sun, certain types of sunscreen can contribute to the development of acne. Some sunscreen formulas use oil-based organic filters that can irritate the skin and cause breakouts. Other sunscreens to avoid are heavy and comedogenic products that can clog pores and give you blemishes and blackheads. The best way to protect your skin is to opt for a daytime moisturizer that contains a broad-spectrum SPF and always apply it to clean skin.
3. Not cleaning your glasses
If you frequently get pimples around your glasses, chances are you’re forgetting to clean the frames. Doctors recommend identifying your problem areas for acne, like the bridge of your nose, and cleaning that section of your frames once a day. Your glasses may also be too tight and could be blocking your pores by pushing dead skin cells back into the pores. Adjusting the fit of your glasses may help prevent pores from getting clogged.
4. Washing your face too much
Cleaning your skin is an essential step in fighting and preventing acne, but over-washing can do exactly the opposite. Dermatologists believe that cleaning the skin too much may upset the balance. Using too many products designed to help dry up excess oil may over-dry your skin and cause your oil glands to produce more oil and more acne breakouts.
5. Using too many hair products
6. Washing your face in the shower
7. Not cleansing after a workout
Regularly skipping the shower after the gym may give you post-workout acne. The bacteria on your skin from sweating can clog your pores and lead to breakouts. Dermatologists recommend showering right after your workout to remove any sweat, oil, and dirt that may have accumulated.
Have you been making any of these skincare mistakes? Have you noticed anything else that can cause acne breakouts?
