Not me, but my (younger) sister. I hid one of her school books (as revenge for something else she did). It was 'missing' for quite a long time and when it was 'found', she got totally punished for it by our Mum. Not until maybe about 15 years or so ago (which is maybe another 10 - 15 years later), did she find out.
15 Adults Dished on the Childhood Mysteries They Only Managed to Solve Years Later
When we’re children, we are full of innocence and see the world in a very different way than adults do. Sometimes we can’t understand how serious some of the issues our parents are talking about are. And because parents are aware of this, they might tell us little white lies so that we do the things they want us to do. For example, they’ll say things a certain way in order to get us to eat our veggies and not just skip right to dessert.
But sooner or later, we have to find out the truth. And for some of us, that didn’t happen until many years later, when we became adults. And we can tell you, Bright Side isn’t alone in this. That’s why we made a compilation of childhood mysteries that were solved by adults.
