I don't know where you get those information on, but for Pretty Woman, the Hong Kong title is still quite elegant, 風月俏佳人, certainly not marry a prostitute and save money. As for Leon (the professional), the Hong Kong title translates as 'This assassin is not so cold (blooded)'.
