Psychological Test: Guess Which One Is Not a Family

Did you know that relationships are just as important to your physical health as diet and exercise are? According to a study, socially isolated adults face the same risk of inflammation as those who are physically inactive. Our first relationships always form with our families during childhood, and often determine how we view the world.
Here at Bright Side, we suggest you take this psychological test to find out how your own first relationships have shaped your personality.

Look closely at the picture above. Which family do you think is not a real one? Don’t think about it for too long, go with your gut here. When you’re done, scroll down to see if you guessed right and learn a bit about yourself.
Family #1

If your answer is family #1, you’re probably not a family-oriented person — at least not in the traditional sense. You treat your friends as your real family, and helping them makes you happy. You always strive to bring something good to everyone’s lives. Maybe you grew up without a strong father figure, which is why you always do your best to be there for people who need you — just like your mom did.
This family might not be the happiest one, but they’re still a real family. The mother obviously cares for her child, holding his hand and shielding him from the uncaring father. You don’t want others to grow up like you, which is why you picked this family as the fake one.
Family #2

If your answer is family #2, you’re strongly family-oriented — there’s nothing more important to you than your family. You believe in building stable and lasting relationships based on trust and commitment. You put your family’s needs first, sometimes even ignoring your own if it means you can make your loved ones happy.
You probably noticed that the people in the picture don’t really look like a family. The adults aren’t paying any attention to the child, and the child isn’t trying to hold their hands either — they may as well be a group of strangers walking together. Being a real family person, you were able to spot the fake family right away.
Family #3

If your answer is family #3, you probably come from a dysfunctional family. Due to your traumatic childhood, you have a hard time trusting people. You’re anxious, and interacting with others is often a challenge for you. Constantly worried about the future, you tend to overthink things.
The people in the picture look like a loving, happy family. They’re a real family. The parents are almost embracing while walking, and the father is holding the child’s hand. Growing up in a dysfunctional family formed your views in a certain way and makes you suspicious of healthy relationships. You don’t believe that something like that truly exists, which is why you picked this family as the fake one.
