7 Natural Ways to Make Your Hair Thick and Healthier You Need to Try

Healthy hair never goes out of style but there can be hundreds of factors including stress that hinder its growth. Sometimes we decide to buy expensive products to fix the problem, but Indian specialists suggest simple but effective ways without spending lots of money.
1. Finish with a cold rinse
Using hot water in the shower dissolves fatty lipids that damage your skin and hair. Cold water is much better for your hair than hot because when you rinse your hair with hot water, you wash off the nourishing oils.
Warm water is good only for the shampooing phase, Indian hairstylists say. Colder water is for the conditioning phase. Finish with a cold rinse to lock in moisture.
2. Have a 4-minute scalp massage every day
Ayurvedic medicine recommends a warm oil head massage to boost hair strength and growth. However, specialists add that 4 minutes of scalp massage per day for 24 weeks showed positive results.
If you practice head massages yourself, continue to do them systematically.
3. Use the right oil for your scalp

Dryness and dandruff are different issues, and each scalp needs individual treatment. So, if the skin on your head is irritated, it’s better to avoid products that can dry it out more. Here is what you need for different types:
- For a dry, itchy scalp, use aloe.
- For an oily scalp, use lemon and neem.
- For an irritated scalp, use rose and sandalwood combined in light clay.
- To cool the scalp, use henna mixed with nutrient-rich oils.
4. Use fragrant floral additions mixed with cold water

We’ve already talked that using cold water for rinsing your hair is much better than warm water, but Indians also recommend adding floral ingredients that may calm irritated skin, including the scalp, and leave a pleasant scent:
- rose petals
- jasmine buds
- honeysuckle
- hibiscus
You can make a tincture with the florals in hot water, then leave it to sit and cool down.
5. Avoid blow-drying your hair after the treatment

Indians also recommend not to blow-dry your hair after any treatment because it prevents maximum benefits. Just let your hair dry naturally.
Also, for a better result, wash your hair before applying the mask.
6. Have 20 minutes of rest after a scalp massage

Ayurvedic specialists recommend a warm oil head massage, but you also need some time to rest before you go to the shower. Specialists say about 20 minutes before washing.
Additionally to a scalp massage, you can add a neck and shoulder massage.
7. Use green tea for your hair

Green tea is a powerful drink to detox your body but it also has the same effect on your hair. Researchers prove that it stimulates growth. You can mix green tea powder with rose water to make the formula better and create a fragrance.
