The Dead to Me actress had revealed that the SAG Awards 2023 would most likely be her last, because she is still continuing to cope with the effects of her illness.

“It’s my last award show as an actor probably, so it’s kind of a big deal,” Applegate explained. “Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me at this moment.”

And all eyes were on the graceful actress as she walked the red carpet while her 12-year-old daughter, Sadie Grace, sweetly held her hand.

Applegate wore a full-length tuxedo dress made of velvet. She also held a cane to assist with the balance problems caused by the disease.

The actress was glowing on the red carpet, and the courageous way she is handling her disease is making us admire her even more.
