Kate Beckinsale Honestly Responds to People Insisting She Had a Facelift

Kate Beckinsale is just a few months shy from turning 50, but she’s already causing a stir on social media with her ageless look. The actress has always passionately denied getting plastic surgery, but fans are starting to doubt the truth behind her words. Beckinsale, however, had a brilliant response ready to go.

In 2021, when the Underworld star was 47, she shared her true feelings about people assuming she’s had work done on her face and ultimately denied it: “I’m not against people having it. [But] I do get pissed off. It’s sort of a given that I’ve had it, which I just literally haven’t.”

Beckinsale explained that she’s actually scared of Botox and how it can alter her appearance: “I’m frightened of paralyzing my face. My mum’s voice is in my head, very loud, at all times. My mum wouldn’t even get a facial, she is suspicious of anything like that... I know if I did do Botox, I’d be the one that would get the droopy eye.”

Fans can’t believe looking this good at her age is possible.

Recently, Kate made an appearance at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and blew everyone away with her perfect look. The 49-year-old actress, who’s turning 50 in July, looked mesmerizing with a high ponytail, gentle makeup, and sparkling light-green dress.

She posted a few photos of her unforgettable appearance at the event on her Instagram, which instantly gathered countless astonished comments, mostly focused on her ageless look:
