Sandra’s partner, Bryan Randall, passed away at the age of 57. He was battling with ALS for 3 years, a disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. So far, no cure has been found for it. His family said, “It is with great sadness that we tell you that Bryan Randall died peacefully on August 5. Bryan decided to keep his ALS journey private. Those who cared for him did our best to respect that.”

Sandra finally broke silence.

The actress is grateful for all the support “toward ALS research since Bryan’s passing.” Bullock is “grateful to all those who have donated and is happy that out of something so heartbreaking came something so positive for others.” She also appreciated those “on this journey with her and Bryan from the beginning.”

She reveals, “I don’t wanna say do it like I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother. I don’t need to be told to be present in the hardest of times. I don’t need to be told to weather a storm with a good man.”
