The Rapper Eminem Walked Adopted Daughter Alaina Down the Aisle at Her Wedding Ceremony

Alaina Marie Scott, the adopted daughter of Eminem, recently spoke out for the first time after her marriage to her partner. She shared that her father was present on her special day and had the honor of walking her down the aisle.

Eminem was the key guest at his daughter’s wedding.

“I had an 80-foot-long black-and-white checkered aisle, and my dad walked me down the aisle,” shared Alaina. “He wasn’t going to miss that.”

This announcement comes in response to speculations about the absence of the 50-year-old rapper, known for his hit song “Lose Yourself,” from the wedding ceremony. Some had noticed his absence in the photos capturing the “Great Gatsby glam” themed celebration, which brought together 125 close friends and family members.

The wedding list included only close people.

For their intimate ceremony, the couple deliberately kept their guest list small, ensuring that only close people were present. “Getting married is a sacred thing, and we wanted to be surrounded by people who share in our daily lives,” explains Scott. She also chose her sister, Hailie Jade, to be her maid of honor, adding a special touch to the occasion. “We did something super untraditional and didn’t allow many plus ones. This was important to us.”

Alaina is Eminem’s niece by blood.

Marshall Mathers III, known by his stage name Eminem, fulfilled the role of a parent to three children. Among them is Alaina, who is Eminem’s niece by blood. However, during the 2000s, he legally adopted her and raised her as his own alongside his ex-wife, Kim Scott. Expressing her gratitude, Alaina said, “None of this would have been possible without my Dad. I’m beyond blessed.”

Alaina’s biological mother was Dawn Scott, the twin sister of Kim. Tragically, Dawn passed away in 2016. Eminem also has a biological daughter named Hailie, whom he shares with Kim.

Eminem is indeed a great dad. When the rapper was awarded an Oscar for his song “Lose Yourself,” he made the decision not to attend the ceremony. Instead, he prioritized putting his daughter to bed and getting a good night’s sleep since she had an early school day ahead.
