Rebel Wilson and her girlfriend Ramona Agruma are now engaged! The Pitch Perfect actress shared the fantastic news on her Instagram page. She disclosed that they announced their relationship publicly last year and just said “yes” in a magical proposal at Disneyland, and we could all feel the love.

Heartwarming engagement in Disneyland

Wilson expressed her excitement in an Instagram post by stating, “We said YES!” The post featured photos of the couple wearing matching pink and white sweaters. In the first one, Agruma proudly shows off the beautiful engagement ring on her hand while they share a sweet kiss.

The second photo captures the setting, as the couple is surrounded by stunning bouquets of pink, white, and yellow roses, with rose petals scattered on the ground and in the air, creating a romantic atmosphere. Although they were both on one knee, and Wilson held the ring box.

Disneyland holds a special significance for Wilson and Agruma, who publicly announced their relationship in June 2022. It appears that the theme park was a fitting location for their engagement, given their love for the magical world of Disney.

A few days before the engagement, Wilson purchased the ring from a renowned jeweler, and she eagerly showed it off in the jeweler’s signature blue box. The couple spent the rest of the day at the theme park, enjoying each other’s company. They danced together in front of the castle as night fell, which appeared to be lit up in rainbow colors, presumably in honor of their union.

Making their relationship public

In June, Wilson shared on Instagram that she and Agruma were in a relationship in honor of Pride Month. This announcement made their relationship public. “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she captioned the post.

As per her Instagram bio, Agruma is the founder of Lemon Ve Limon, a clothing brand based in Los Angeles.

Welcoming a long-awaited baby

The past year has been full of significant milestones for Wilson, who became a mother to a daughter, Royce Lillian, born via surrogate in November 2022. Wilson expressed her love and appreciation for her daughter in an Instagram post, describing her as a beautiful miracle.

She also expressed gratitude toward everyone who helped make it possible, particularly her surrogate, who carried and birthed Royce with grace and care. This journey has been years in the making, and Wilson is overwhelmed with joy to have finally become a mother.

Since welcoming their baby, Wilson has shared her experience of balancing motherhood and being a partner to Agruma. “You hold the baby and cut the umbilical cord, and literally from that moment on, it was just, like, amazing and so emotional,” she said in an interview in December. “It’s really challenging. I have this big international career, and you know, I’m, like, the breadwinner of my family, I like to think,” the actress added.

As for Agruma, she expressed that co-parenting baby Royce has been a “life-changing” experience. The designer described the experience as “amazing” and unexpected. They have found it extraordinary and enjoyable, as it shifts their focus from themselves to their child. Agruma shared how their priorities have changed, and instead of focusing on personal relaxation, they prioritize spending time at home with their baby.

Agruma had discussed her relationship with Wilson a month prior and described the experience of going public with their relationship as initially challenging. In addition, the designer expressed how it was surprising and difficult for her to handle the sudden attention and admitted to feeling slightly frightened initially.

Agruma described herself as someone who tends to be more private and enjoys staying at home, although she still enjoys going out and having fun.
