I remember when I was in 2nd grade (about 6 or 7 years old), I wanted to go to the restroom but my math teacher wouldn't allow me, I ended up peeing myself in my pants, had to go to the nurse's office, she called my mom, after I got cleaned and changed, I went with my mom to the principal's office and the principal lectured the teacher

i was in 1st grade when a classmate of mine also peed in the room. We were just scolded by the teacher about someone going to the loo almost every minute so he was reluctant to do so. He remained in his seat the whole afternoon and his older brother (3rd grade or 4th i think) was called to clean up his mess. Maybe he was too embarrassed to stand up or do anything. I felt sorry for him.

WHEN I WAS IN GRADE 5 I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT THE HIGHEST MARKS AND WAS UP FOR AN AWARD IN MY SCHOOL. BUT THEN MY CLSS TEACHER WHO THINKS I HAVE A LOT OF ATTITUDE HAD GIVEN IT TO A GIRL IN THR 7TH RANK. WHEN MY MOM ASKED ABOUT IT AND WAS GOING TO COMPLAIN TO THE PRINCIPAL SHE CHANGED THE TOTAL MARKS AND PUT MY NAME AT 6TH AND THAT GIRL'S NAME IN THE 1ST POSITION. I AM STILL MAD AT HER FOR THIS.

The comment has left, but promises to come back.
As an educator, I am HORRIFIED, FURIOUS and SO SORRY for all the inexcusable behavior you experienced. Those "teachers" have/had no business being in the classroom unmonitored or without being reprimanded or if that type of behavior was often, eventually released. Our job, besides teaching, encompasses many things but none of them involve leaving hurt, stings, or bad memories. I pray none of my kiddos from years past and present have ever felt anything but love, encouragement and acceptance, that when they think of that year they only have happy memories. Those kiddos are part of my heart. They became my kiddos for life the day I hugged them as they walked into my classroom for the first time. After reading these, my heart hurts at the thought of one of them maybe having a salty, sad, embarrassing or hurtful memory. So, if any of Mrs. B's former 3rd grade babies from OES are reading this, if I ever did something that created a hurt in you, I so sincerely apologize. From the bottom of my heart, I would never intentionally have done that.

I READ THE ARTICLE AND NOW I HAVE SOME WORDS I CANT SAY RIGHT NOW. THIS IS COMPLETE BULL####. I HATE ALL THE TEACHERS THAT MADE ME GO THROUGH MISERY. I COULD WRITE A ESAY THAT WAY MY TEACHERS FORCED ME TO. BUT LET ME TELL YOU A STORY.....

One day when I was sitting on the couch, my dad told me a story on how when I was about 5, this woman in my Pre-K class wanted to take me into a class that would take me to speak proper English because she thought that because of where my parents come from (Haiti), that I would be "as messed up as them" because she was trying her best to be racist to me. the thing is, that woman had a HORRIBLE accent and my dad could not understand her and neither could her coworkers, but she kept insisting. I WAS 5, but my dad refused and cursed her out like there was no tomorrow. She ended up getting fired and I love to replay that story in my head over and over again. (Do Not Get On My Dads Bad Side)
