Played a scavenger hunt with the grandboys. I told them I would pay them for how many things they would find. I ended up agreeing to pay $5 each. When we got back inside, gave each a new $5 bill. When they were leaving, I asked if they had their money. 7yo said yes but 5yo said he lost his and he didn't care. I responded, "You don't care about $5?" He responded, "I don't care about fake money." We responded "It's not fake. It's real!" To which 5yo replied very sarcastically, "Oh, ok, REAL, FAKE MONEY!"

When my daughter was 6yo, her father worked the graveyard shift, 1130 to 8. He would leave to work after she was asleep and return after she was at school. My husband and I were having a disagreement about my money spending in the van on out way somewhere. It did begin to get a little heated and that's when she stepped in and said, " Dad, you can't say anything about money when you don't even work!" We stopped arguing and bursted out laughing!
