It’s already been 3 decades since Home Alone 2: Lost in New York was released, and we still can’t get enough of it, especially around the holiday season. The iconic movie is the third highest-grossing Christmas film of all-time, and its characters remain as iconic and fascinating as ever. This is why we were curious to dig a little to see what this beloved movie cast looks like now, and what they are doing in their lives and careers.
Culkin is 42 years old now, and recently became a dad to a son born in 2021 with his fiancée, actress Brenda Song. One of his latest acting roles was in the 10th season of American Horror Story: Double Feature, a role for which he gained critical praise.
O’Hara is 68 years old now and she has had many notable roles since her iconic portrayal as Kevin’s mom. From 2015 to 2020, the actress played the role of a washed-up soap opera actress in the TV series Schitt’s Creek which earned her an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Ratray is 45 years old now, and has appeared in many roles since portraying Kevin’s big brother. His appearances include in the TV series Law & Order and Supernatural. He also became a regular on MTV’s reality series Damage Control.
Curry is 76 years old now. Back in 2012, he suffered a major stroke which left him needing to use a wheelchair, and he had to take physical and speech therapy as part of his health recovery. After his stroke, the actor’s work has mainly shifted to voice acting, however he continues to sing and appear at fan conventions.
Pesci is 79 years old now, and a few years ago he came out of retirement in order to appear in the 2019 movie The Irishman, which earned him an Oscar nomination. Unlike other members of the cast, Joe was already a well-known actor before appearing in Home Alone, mostly because of his role in Goodfellas, a popular film from 1990.
Stern is 65 years old now and has continued to act. His most recent role will be released in 2023, as he has joined the cast for season 4 of the sci-fi series For All Mankind. His other works include narrating the popular series The Wonder Years from 1988 to 1993.
Bamman is 81 years old now and even though he continued to appear in movies and TV series after Home Alone 2, the role of Uncle Frank remains his most famous. His last acting credit to date was in 2015, in the TV series The Following.
Kieran, who is Macaulay’s real-life younger brother, is 40 now, and he’s continuing to build a successful career in acting. One of his latest and most notable roles is in the series Succession. He has been married since 2013, and he and his wife are parents to a boy and a girl.
