The Internet was astonished to find Gisele Bündchen’s doppelgänger in Paula La Croix, who was just a teenager at the time. La Croix also comes from Bündchen’s native Brazil and is the supermodel’s spitting image. La Croix also coincidentally has the same last name as the popular sparkling beverage. The girl appears to have the same signature hair color with bombshell waves as Bündchen.
In the majority of her Instagram posts, many of her 255,000 followers comment on the amazing resemblance, but for La Croix, it’s not that big of a deal.
Paula La Croix is now 21 and has come a long way since becoming a working model. She is flattered by the comparisons to Bündchen but doesn’t seem to consider it a big advantage when it comes to her career.
“Being compared to Gisele is an honor, she is simply amazing,” La Croix says. “I believe the comparison has only generated great things due to my attitude toward it.”
Although it’s sometimes hard to tell La Croix apart from her famous doppelgänger, the model wants to carve her own career and has huge milestones to look forward to in the future.
“Of course, I am inspired by her — she is one of my big inspirations due to her resilience and confidence. However, I want to create my own path!” she explained. “My aim is to be myself and pursue my own career. But I do not compare myself to her, as we are both unique.”
Paula is a stunning young woman. She does look like she could have been Gisele's twin. I hope that all of her dreams come true with the opportunity that her modeling career has given her. I wonder if she would ever consider doing work with Victoria's Secret, since she wants to follow her own career path, separate from Gisele's, it was just an interesting thought.
