Kelly Osbourne Didn’t Know If She’d Ever Be a Mom, but Is Now Expecting Her First Child With Sidney Wilson

Kelly Osbourne was 17 when she and her family let cameras into their lives for their TV reality show, 20 years ago. She’s been honest and open about her struggles in life and wasn’t sure if she’d have kids of her own. But now she has announced that she’s pregnant with her first child and is filled with joy.

Kelly has been in the public eye since she was a teenager.

The Osbourne family had their own reality show in 2002. Kelly was 17 at the time and has lived in the public eye ever since. She has acted in films like So Undercover and has appeared as a judge on Project Runway and Fashion Police.

She is also a fashion designer and launched her line, Stories By Kelly Osbourne, in 2014. She said, “I don’t think the fashion industry is fair. I’m not trying to be the next big thing in fashion, I’m trying to make fashion fair.”

She met him through her dad, but they were just friends.

Kelly was dating Erik Bragg, a skateboarder, editor, and cinematographer in 2020, but they split up after a year of dating. Kelly met Sid in 1999 at Ozzfest, a music festival that was founded by Kelly’s parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Sid’s band, Slipknot, was touring with the festival. Ever since then, they’ve remained friends.

Wasn’t sure if a baby was in the cards for her.

In an interview, Kelly opened up about her struggles in life and not knowing if she would be a mom. She said, “I feel very behind. As a woman, I would have loved to be married and have children by now. My brother has 3 daughters and I would have loved to have kids by now, but that wasn’t what was in the cards for me yet.”

Kelly and Sid went public with their relationship in February.

Their 2-decade-long friendship turned romantic. In a social media post, Kelly wrote, “After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson.”

Sid shared a sweet Valentine’s Day post, he wrote, “There are not enough colors to display the palette of Love I have for you in my Heart Happy Valentine’s Day my Love XoXo”

Kelly recently shared that she was pregnant.

Kelly shared the news via social media. She wrote, “I know that I have been very quiet these past few months, so I thought I would share with you all as to why... I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”

Kelly’s mom, Sharon, is ecstatic for her daughter, and she wrote, “My heart could not be more full! So excited to share the beautiful journey ahead with you.”
