Also, there are no deep fried caterpillars on the table at all. In South Africa the main dish is meat, various meat, like gammon, leg of Lamb and salt beef with lots of vegetable side dishes and plenty of dessert like trifle, tiramisu.

Caterpillars are mainly eaten (and not at Christmas time) in rural areas.

Winter in South Africa in December, don't you do your research? And it's called mopanie worms, eaten by certain cultures during the year in South Africa as well as Namibia. I know a lot of Africans that doesn't even eat it.

I've never eaten any kind of worm in my life! I think this site is a load of rubbish! This just makes me angry, it's misinformation! How many people believe this kak now?
