12 Historical Figures Who Looked Very Much Differently Than Shown in Movies

Many of us, while watching movies or looking at the portraits of famous historical figures, don’t even realize how much their real appearance can differ from their cinematic or artistic representations. In the modern era, artificial intelligence allows us to see the true face of these great people, giving us the opportunity to view them from a new, more accurate perspective.
Genghis Khan
This is what Genghis Khan actually looked like.

Nefertiti
And this is what the famous queen actually looked like.

Since we've never actually seen her alive, we don't know what she actually looked like.
Very clearly she did not look like this according to the statue.
I think the bust is more accurate than the image. During Akhinaten's reign all artwork was mandated to be entirely accurate, instead of the stylized busts that were common up to then. You can see it in the detail in her bust, in the way the lip muscles crease and the particular folds under the eyes. So why wouldn't the similarities extend to the rest of the bust, like the long neck and the pronounced sculpted look in the cheek and jaw.. The rendition has none of that.. It may be that the artist wanted to create a teenage , or not fully matured image.. but why?
Julius Caesar

Cleopatra

There were many portraits and written descriptions of Cleopatra. A lot were created by her enemies which is why they vary from beautiful to ugly. At least AI took into consideration she was either Greek or mostly Greek and not Egyptian since the Ptolemys were Macedonian.
Michelangelo
