15 Photos That’ll Totally Mess With Your Mind

Marvel has had resounding success with comic books and movies. They have so many characters with extraordinary stories that fans are waiting impatiently for every new release announced. Think of Thor: Love and Thunder, which became a huge hit a while ago. But there are some details you may not have noticed back then.
Bright Side gathered 13 interesting facts that you might have missed while you were in full rage enjoying the movie. You can’t miss the bonus at the end of the article!
One of the sons of Chris Hemsworth, the actor who plays Thor, appears in the movie for a few seconds. We can see him running in a scene where the hero is a child.
In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the tree of life. That’s the image that appears on a T-shirt worn by Thor in the movie’s first scenes. In the Marvel universe, they also talk about it.
In fact, Thor mentions it in the first movie. The Yggdrasil is a giant tree that sustains the universes and is the home of the 9 realms, with one of its roots in Asgard.
At the film’s beginning, Thor receives as a gift a pair of goats that scream outrageously. These goats are familiar to those who read the comics or know anything about Norse mythology, as they are the ones that pull Thor’s chariot. In the movie, despite their irritating howls, they are a fun detail.
Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, appeared in a flashback dressed as a wolf woman kissing Thor. It’s not the first time she has been shown on screen kissing the Avenger, as she previously stood in for Natalie Portman for a romantic scene when the Black Swan actress couldn’t be there.
In a scene where Thor is training, you can see him wearing a cap that says: “The strongest Avenger.” This is a funny detail that many may have overlooked and is typical of the humor that these films and the director of the project, Taika Waititi, tend to show.
In the movie, there is a scene in which Jane Foster explains to a young man the theory of holes in space in a peculiar way using a pen and a leaf. It also refers to two movies that have this type of science, one of them being Interstellar.
In this film, we got to see many familiar faces, from Melissa McCarthy, Luke Hemsworth, Chris’ brother Chris, and Kat Dennings to Russell Crowe and the whole cast from Guardians of the Galaxy, among others. And then there’s Matt Damon playing Loki in the new, touristy Asgard.
Thor misspells Nick Fury’s name on his cell phone. We can see it in a flashback of his relationship with Jane when he calls him, and it is written “Nick Furry.”
Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double performed not only in the action parts of the movie: he also made a cameo as a different character and proudly shared it with the fans. On the other hand, Natalie Portman’s stunt double not only replaced her in the complicated scenes, but also played a Thor-loving pirate.
Thor delivers a speech similar to the one Odin gave in Thor: “Anyone who holds this hammer, if he is worthy, will possess the power of Thor.” This is a subtle reference to the movie that started it all.
Not many actors, especially those starring in DC or Marvel movies, have switched sides between the two universes. But one of them was Christian Bale, who played Batman several years ago and now gives us an excellent performance as Gorr, the villain in Thor: Love and Thunder. He indicated that his makeup took 3.5 hours to put on.
Many of the protagonists’ children were part of this film, not only Chris Hemsworth’s but also Christian Bale’s and director Taika Waititi’s children. Natalie Portman’s children were also involved in the production. In fact, they motivated her to return to the Marvel world.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, plays an important role that may have a future in the saga. Chris was very proud of her and happy to be able to share the stage with his daughter.
The end credits show a change in the story and the introduction of what appears to be the new villain: Hercules. He is played by Brett Goldstein, known for his performance in Ted Lasso.
What would you do if Thor gave you his powers for a day? What ability would you like to have to beat the “villains”?
