13 Facts About “Thor: Love and Thunder” That Make It Even More Electrifying

1. Chris Hemsworth’s son, Tristan, has a small role.

One of the sons of Chris Hemsworth, the actor who plays Thor, appears in the movie for a few seconds. We can see him running in a scene where the hero is a child.

2. Thor wears a T-shirt honoring Norse mythology.

In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the tree of life. That’s the image that appears on a T-shirt worn by Thor in the movie’s first scenes. In the Marvel universe, they also talk about it.

In fact, Thor mentions it in the first movie. The Yggdrasil is a giant tree that sustains the universes and is the home of the 9 realms, with one of its roots in Asgard.

3. Thor’s goats

At the film’s beginning, Thor receives as a gift a pair of goats that scream outrageously. These goats are familiar to those who read the comics or know anything about Norse mythology, as they are the ones that pull Thor’s chariot. In the movie, despite their irritating howls, they are a fun detail.

4. We see Chris Hemsworth making out with his wife on the screen.

Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, appeared in a flashback dressed as a wolf woman kissing Thor. It’s not the first time she has been shown on screen kissing the Avenger, as she previously stood in for Natalie Portman for a romantic scene when the Black Swan actress couldn’t be there.
