15 Stories That Prove There Is as Much Kindness in the World as Water in the Sea

Though it sometimes might be hard to see this, kindness is there all around us — all you need to do to see it is just look around. Whether it’s a free coffee, encouraging words, or even a helping hand from an animal, each and every act of kindness matters.

We at Bright Side try to do as many kind things as we can and we hope you are doing the same. The characters of our article have proven that you don’t need to do something big to be kind. The bonus part will prove, once again, that Keanu Reeves is a man with a big heart.

This orangutan saw a man wading in snake-infested water and decided to offer a helping hand.

This bus driver in Canada stopped the bus to run across the street and help a little kid with his bike whose chain had fallen off.

“The bus was about to make a right turn when the kid was crossing the street on his bike slowly, visibly crying with no parents nearby. As the driver was turning he asked out the window if he was okay. Then he got out of the bus to make sure he wasn’t hurt or that something bad hadn’t happened. All it turned out to be was the chain on the bike appeared to have fallen off, so he hooked it back on for him and got back on the bus.”

A non-profit organization in Canada installed benches welcoming homeless people to stay there overnight.

“I had an audition and my car broke down. Nobody wanted to help me because my car was very dirty. All of a sudden Keanu Reeves comes up and says to me, ‘Hey, do you need help?’ Without laughing I tried asking him to get in the car so I could push him, but he said, ‘No, I’m going to push you.’” The future actress eventually got her car started and was on time for the audition.
