This gives me motivation to start moving again, I always give up too early
20+ People That Will Stop at Nothing When Chasing Their Dreams
All of us have our own goals and every one of them, no matter big or small, requires a lot of patience and hard work. But there are people who set very difficult tasks for themselves like losing a lot of extra weight, building a house near the sea, getting the job of their dreams, or even getting a karate black belt at the age of 70.
We at Bright Side admire the people that have completely erased the words “give up” from their vocabularies.
“165 pounds gone and my mom is thriving. Look at her!!! What an inspiration. I’m so proud of you!”
“My mom and I started nursing school together this semester. Please wish us luck!”
“Won my city photo contest!”
“Wifey and I dropped almost 300 lb in the last year and a half.”
Whenever you get a low grade, think about this.
“Today my mom pointed out that I look totally different from a year ago but I couldn’t see it... Then she compared these 2 pictures and I guess I’m kind of proud of myself.”
“Bought another house for my mom but this is the one that I’ve been looking forward to my whole life...the beach house!”
“I’ve been waiting for the New Year just to show how much I’ve changed: 2010 vs 2020! Fewer pounds, more patience, plus the best friends in the universe!”
“This is my dad, he’s in his 70s and just got his black belt!! He’s been doing karate for over 30 years but was in no rush — he earned it when he felt he deserved it! Great inspiration and look how happy he is!”
“I’m finally down 100 lb!”
“My husband has been sick for a long time and he needs care, so we couldn’t even think about a dog. But still, here she is, his dream, going to meet her new owner.”
“I’ve wanted to post this for several months. January 21, 2019 vs January 21, 2020”
When they know exactly what they want:
“4 years ago we took these on my laptop because it was our dream to be in Paris together. Fast forward to now and we made it baby!”
“I finally got my dream job as a park ranger in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska! The karmic gods must have made a clerical error.”
“It’s my first tile job and I’m quite happy with it. I’m 13!”
This couple wasn’t able to go on a cruise on their 53rd wedding anniversary, so they decided to improvise.
“The beginning of my makeup journey in 2017 at 18 years old vs now in 2020 at 20 years old — I’m so proud of myself and my eyebrows!”
“Me at 6, 16, 21 and 23. I’ve struggled with weight my whole life but am very happy to say that these last 2 years, I’ve managed to maintain a healthy weight and gain a lot more confidence.”
“How I became a student at the age of 46”
“I did this at 19 years old. Thank you to everyone who supported me. My hard work and long hours of working finally paid off. My dream is now my reality and I’m just going up from here! Thank you, God and everyone for their love.”
“In the process of building my dream home. This is the view from the kitchen today.”
What achievements are you proud of?
