6 Extraordinary Couples Who Proved Love Has No Boundaries

From childhood, we watch cartoons and movies that show us what loving couples should look like. There is a princess who is always thin and has long hair and a prince, always a strong guy with muscles who has to be taller than the woman. And sometimes such standards encoded in the society become barriers for people on the road to finding their true love. But still, there are couples who prove that love shouldn’t have any boundaries.

Our Bright Side team wants to show you the couples whose love is so big that they don’t care what other people think.

1. Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino

We want to start our list with the shortest married couple Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino who have a combined height of just 181.41 cm (71.42 in). The couple officially became Guinness World Records holders after tying the knot. However, due to their height, both Paulo and Katyucia attract attention from the public when together, which gives them greater strength in dealing with it. As the couple says “We may be short but we have big hearts and lots of love for each other as well as everybody in our lives.”

2. Anton Kraft and China Bell

Anton Kraft is a bodybuilder whose height is only 4 feet 4 inches (132 centimeters). This fact didn’t become an obstacle to his career. In fact, he is the only person in the world who can lift 4 of his own weights. However, Anton considers his main life achievement to be his marriage to China Bell, a transgender woman who is 190.5 centimeters tall. Despite their differences, Anton and China understand and feel each other very well and it makes their union incredible.

3. Sean Stephenson and Mindie Kniss

The motivational speakers Sean Stephenson and Mindie Kniss met through a mutual friend and tied the knot in 2012. Sean is a truly inspiring example of how you should harness your potential no matter what. He was born with a bone disease and by the time Sean was 18, he suffered 200 broken bones in different parts of his body. Although the couple suffered from online trolls who targeted their intimate life, Mindie says that she is totally happy in her marriage.

4. Gabriela and Victor Peralta

The next couple on our list also holds the official Guinness World Record as the most modified married couple in the world. The majority of the bodies of Victor and Gabriela Peralta are covered with tattoos. Additionally, the couple has around 80 bodily modifications: 50 piercings, implants, and other things. Victor and Gabriela have been married for 20 years and consider themselves “perfect” for each other and don’t care about what other people think.

5. Nick Vujicic and Kanae Miyahara

A man born without arms and legs, Nick Vujicic is a living legend and a loving husband. And his wife Kanae Miyahara is a real role model! In fact, there is no medical reason why Nick was born without legs and arms, but he struggled mentally and physically since childhood. However, it didn’t become a barrier to love at first sight. When Kanae met Nick she saw “a handsome and exceptional man and had a powerful attraction to him.” Now the couple is raising four children and they serve as a beautiful example of love without boundaries.

6. Elisane Silva and Francinaldo Da Silva Carvalho

Elisane Silva is the tallest woman in Brazil, her height is six feet eight inches. The reason for such tall height is a benign tumor that had caused an overproduction of her growth hormone, a condition known as “gigantism.” However, her height hasn’t become a barrier to finding love. The model is married to Francinaldo Da Silva Carvalho who is just five-foot-four. What is more important is that her husband treats her like a normal person and doesn’t pay attention to her height. Recently the couple welcomed their first child and we can’t be happier for them!
