You may think it is an impossible task to pick a gift for someone who has almost everything. Well, it is certainly a struggle to come up with something unique for the celebration of a real royal figure but some people have mange to find some creative solutions.

Bright Side wants to show you 8 memorable gifts to the royal family that gave its members the butterflies you feel in your stomach before Christmas Day.

1. A special Barbie doll was made for the Queen.

When you hear the words “Barbie doll” you probably don’t imagine a lady with gray hair, a crown, and who is dressed in an elegant ivory gown, wearing the blue riband. Well, that was exactly the model that was created in preparations for celebrating Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee — 70 years of service.

2. Red dragons

Well, a mighty dragon is a royal-worthy gift, no one can argue with that. However, the dragons given to Prince Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge were slightly more kid-friendly, cute, and last but not least stuffed. The royal family received the cool gift while visiting Tata Steel in Port Talbot, Wales.

3. The Queen received a painting during a video call.

The good vibes that a good present radiates can be picked up from enormous distances. That defiantly turned out to be true when Queen Elizabeth II received a very special gift during a virtual meeting with the High Commissioner of Malawi, Dr. Thomas Bisika. The Queen looked beaming with happiness on the computer screen because of the cool surprise.

4. Diana’s jewel from a Saudi Arabian Prince

If a super-wealthy prince wants to send you a gift via email it’s probably a scam. Well, that’s not the case however if you have some blue blood running in your veins. The neckless was given to Princess Diana in 1981 for her marriage by Crown Prince Fahd of Saudi Arabia. That big blue stone is a Saudi Saphire and the suite instantly become one of her most iconic pieces of jewelry.

5. Prince Charles’ rastafarian hat

When you are visiting Trenchtown, the home of reggae music in Jamaica, “Don’t worry about a thing” —you will enjoy the stay and maybe even receive a special gift like Prince Charles did. The royal member got a wool hat known as a Rastafarian tam by Rita Marley (Bob Marley’s wife). It’s an unmistakable look.

6. Queen’s rare horse

If you are a fan of the Queen you are aware she loves dearly her horses and they love her back. One of the crown jewels in her stable she got during a visit to Slovenia on October 22, 2008. This beautiful animal is a rare Lipizzaner horse. This breed is named after the Lipizza Stud of the Habsburg monarchy and they are powerful, mature slowly, and are noted for longevity. The ancestors of the Lipizzan can be traced to around 800 AD, so yeah, they have been around for quite some time.

7. Prince Charles’s yak

Speaking of slightly unconventional pets, imagine owning a yak. That turned into reality for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall during their visit to the mountain village of Altit, Pakistan. Don’t let the fluffy fur of that guy deceive you — this is not your cat Steve and it can do a lot more than pushing a cup off the ledge of the table.

8. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Barbie

Well, if you are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, you have an even more stylish option to immortalize your wedding day. Barbie created special edition figures of the royal couple in their majestic wedding attire. An interesting fact is that a portion of every sale of the dolls was donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
