Green tea is rich with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is perfect for you if you’re struggling with blackheads and acne. You can mix the interior of 2 bags with warm water and honey to create a natural face mask. Leave it on your face for 20 minutes to see the redness and irritation go away.
One easy way to get rid of that painful toothache is with the topical use of peppermint tea. Since it has antibacterial and numbing effects, one slightly warm tea bag can be pressed onto your hurting tooth until the pain goes away.
As chamomile has wound-healing properties, it can also be helpful with painful insect bites. To do so, make chamomile tea and let it cool down in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then, apply gently on the bite for 10 minutes. Repeat the process if necessary.
