“Ginny & Georgia” Star Brianne Howey Is Pregnant With Her First Baby

“My forever new +1” is how Brianne Howey shared the exciting news on her Instagram profile. The Ginny & Georgia star and her husband, Matt Ziering, have been together since 2014, and almost a decade later, they are finally ready for their new adventure as parents.

Playing a mother on-screen was a long-harbored desire of Howey’s, and her role as Georgia in the hit series, Ginny & Georgia, allowed her to realize that dream. However, life is about to imitate art, as Howey is now preparing to take on the role of a real-life mom. She recently shared the happy news on her Instagram profile, and the couple’s friends shared their excitement in the comments.

Antonia Gentry, who plays Georgia’s teenage daughter, Ginny, expressed her happiness with a comment that read, “So. happy. for. you.” And Diesel La Torraca, who plays her son, Austin, wrote, “I can’t wait to be a big brother!!! Sooooooo excited!!!” Although his comment is beyond sweet, we couldn’t help but wonder whether this is a hint about what’s to come in the next season of the series.

In addition to becoming parents to their future child, Howey and Ziering have been proud dog parents to Bodie, an Australian Shepherd mix, who has brought constant love and joy into their lives for the past 3 years.

The couple tied the knot and said their “I dos” in July 2021, and, according to Howey, the night of the wedding was magical. “It was the most beautiful feeling to be surrounded by so many people we love,” she revealed.

Playing the role of Georgia on the hit series, Ginny & Georgia, has given Howey a newfound appreciation for teenagers and parenting, despite not always agreeing with her character’s actions.
