Following a pregnancy with concerning complications, 44-year-old Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly welcomed her fourth child into the world. The baby, a boy, is the first child for Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker.
The Blink-182 musician had previously confirmed their intention to name their son Rocky Thirteen when discussing Kourtney’s due date. “It’s either Halloween,” he mentioned, “or like the first week of November.”
“I like Rocky Thirteen,” Barker said. “That’s this name that’s been going through my head lately... Rocky George played guitar for [iconic punk band] Suicidal Tendencies, and the name also serves as a homage to 1976 motion picture Rocky, the greatest boxing movie of all time.”
In the weeks leading up to the arrival of their baby, Kardashian Barker discussed a “medical emergency” she had experienced, which necessitated an urgent fetal surgery. Luckily, both mom and son are doing fine.
A source says, “Kourtney gave birth and she and Travis are so elated. They’re feeling extremely fortunate that both Kourtney and their baby are healthy after the complications Kourtney went through.
