On the 6th of May, 2023, King Charles and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, were officially coronated in front of millions worldwide. And while the ceremony was nothing less than spectacular, another protagonist stole the show. Prince Louis, the youngest son of William and Kate, had all eyes on him due to his various expressions. Even though his sister, Charlotte, was there to try and keep him quiet, he just couldn’t contain himself.

During King Charles III’s coronation, Prince Louis stole the show with his adorable expressions, captivating the internet audience. The extensive 5-hour affair, which included the coronation service at Westminster Abbey and a procession, provided ample opportunity for Louis to showcase his charming personality.

Accompanied by their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Louis and Charlotte played a significant role in the day’s events. Charlotte, dressed in a matching Alexander McQueen ensemble that resembled her mother’s attire, even wore a miniature version of Catherine’s silver leaf headdress.

The young siblings took their front-row seats alongside their parents as the solemn and religious ceremony commenced. Louis occasionally displayed restlessness throughout the proceedings, yawning and pointing things out to Charlotte from their seats near the high altar.

Due to his tender age, a break was arranged, and viewers noticed Louis temporarily leaving his seat only to return in time to sing “God Save the King.” Later, they joined the royal procession to Buckingham Palace, riding in the first carriage behind the Gold State Coach. Sitting opposite his parents, Louis excitedly pressed his face against the glass and enthusiastically waved at the waiting crowds.

Louis couldn’t hide his impatience as he eagerly awaited the arrival of the planes during the event. On Saturday afternoon, the balcony setting made a glorious backdrop, allowing Louis to express his astonishment. With his mouth agape, he watched in awe as the Red Arrows and helicopters flew overhead.

Although Louis currently holds the fourth position in the line of succession, his path to the throne depends on the circumstances of his elder siblings. He would ascend to kingship if both remain childless as adults and pass away before him.

Meanwhile, Prince George made history at King Charles’ coronation as the second in line to the British throne. Taking on the role of a Page of Honor, the 9-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton played a significant part in the crowning ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Walking alongside 7 other pages, he processed through the Nave of the Abbey during the coronation.

As a caring older sister, Princess Charlotte held the hand of her 5-year-old brother, Prince Louis, throughout their arrival and departure from the coronation service at the Abbey. She was also conversing with her little brother during the 2-hour ceremony.

It’s only natural that kids, including royals, will sometimes act out even at the most public events. And in Prince Louis’ case, it looks like he and Harry have a lot in common. And sometimes, nannies are responsible for keeping kids under control, but in the royal family, they must abide by certain rules.
