We Imagined How 17 Old Hollywood Stars Would Look If They Were Our Contemporaries

Movies filmed during the Golden Age of Hollywood have their own special magic and charm. Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Rita Hayworth and other stars of that epoch look at us from black-and-white film frames, their hair curled in sleek continuous lines, their eyelashes covered with thick layers of mascara, and their eyebrows super thin. Times have changed, and the stars of modern movie hits look completely different.
With the help of our designers, we at Bright Side tried to imagine how 17 actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood would look if they lived and starred in movies now, and here’s what we came up with.
Grace Kelly

Audrey Hepburn

Lana Turner

Ginger Rogers

Rita Hayworth

Lauren Bacall

Elizabeth Taylor

Gene Tierney

Debbie Reynolds

Ingrid Bergman

Mae West

Rosalind Russell

Susan Hayward

Anne Baxter

Sylvia Sidney

Joan Fontaine

Carole Lombard

None of these women needed any changes they were all quite lovely and were dressed and made-up as they should in those years...they are quite lovely as they were..changing their styles and make-up was not an improvement...
Not everyone has straight hair today!
They were all perfectly beautiful the way they were. Not everyone needs to look like modern reality "celebrities."
These women were already beautiful and I really like the Old Hollywood Style. The straight hair was very unflattering on most of them and it took away fr their beauty.
What's with all the straight hair? Can't they be contemporary with wavy or curly hair? 🤔
