It's so strange to see pictures of places you've never visited, from eras you haven't even imagine how it would be and yet feel that nostalgic... I love such compilations. Thank you!
20 Pictures Showing How Much the World Has Changed in the Last 100 Years

When comparing our childhood to the present day, we can see how much things have changed. We’re not only referring to our bodies or even to specific aspects of our lives but mostly to our environment and the world we live in. From places that we used to go to that no longer exist to our beloved hometowns, things can look totally different from the way we remember them from childhood. If there was a machine that could take us to the past so we could visit all of those places that seemed so familiar to us back then, we’d most likely become lost as foreigners there.
And if in 10, 20, or 30 years the world can change this much, just imagine how much things can change over the course of another 100 years? That’s why Bright Side has collected 20 photographs of cities and iconic locations for you to see how much they’ve changed.

I once went to an exhibition showing historical picture of Prague (the city I'm living) then and now.. It was so emotional. How things change! The people, the circumstances. The whole history of the place :)
