My 4yo niece likes to throw tantrums that can last hours when she doesn't get what she wants and what she wants is to be allowed to do things like adults. Her mom told her if she really wanted to be an adult she should throw tantrums like one. Which is to read a book till they are calm. Now she reads her story book till she falls asleep. Problem solved.
20 Parenting Tweets That Are So Relatable, It Hurts

Parenting, when summed up in 280 characters on Twitter, can be so hilarious and on the nose that they make moms and dads laugh in tears of understanding. Actress Reese Witherspoon, for example, tweeted: “It’s honestly astounding how many times my kid can say ’Mom,’ ’Mommy,’ and ’Mama’ in a row.” And some people tweeted their experience with a sprinkle of smart sarcasm, saying things like: “I miss going to a restaurant and paying $5.99 for Kraft macaroni and cheese for my kid to take 2 bites of.”
Bright Side compiled some parenting tweets that ring true for every mom and dad out there.

I think a lot of mothers forget to have some time for themselves when they get a child
For sure, getting a child is like a second job!
I agree and that's why I sometimes think it's weird when people say "I want X kids later" while they don't even know what it's like
