Each household has its own rules imposed by parents. And in many cases, these make a lot of sense (don’t stay up late, no dessert before veggies, etc). In the end, they’re meant to teach children how to manage their time better or even avoid fights between siblings. But sometimes parents abuse their authority and normalize rules that are so crazy that when children go to someone else’s home, they find out that things don’t really have to be that way.
