10 Couples Whose Love Journey Began While Working Together

Many people believe that dating someone you work with is a poor decision, however, the couples in this article prove the opposite. When we least expect it, love lurks around every corner. Try to picture yourself going to your job and then coming home to find a colleague tugging at your heart. That’s exactly what happened to these famous couples.

1. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton

In 2014, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met when they were both judges on The Voice. As they comforted and supported one another through the difficult process of divorce, they formed a deep bond that only grew stronger over time. This connection brought them together in the end. They started dating in 2015, got engaged in 2020, and then officially tied the knot in July 2021. They’ve never been happier.

Stefani said that meeting Shelton was “the dream.” Shelton has stated that the rock singer saved his life and that no one else could comprehend his high-profile divorce as well as she could due to their shared experiences.

2. Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk

While guest-starring on Glee, Gwyneth Paltrow met Brad Falchuk, a producer and screenwriter. The couple went public with their relationship in 2015. They tied the knot at the beginning of 2018 and are still together. In one interview, Falchuk said of Paltrow, "She’s stunning and she’s charming and she’s completely disarming.’’

3. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie

This couple met on the set of the action series, Game of Thrones, but their story was as straightforward as their on-screen characters. In 2012, they gave love a try, but it didn’t last more than a few months. Harington said that he and Leslie’s genuine friendship was the driving force behind their chemistry on-screen. After one year of separation, the stars dated again for a long time before deciding to tie the knot. The wedding took place in Scotland in 2018.

4. Persia White and Joseph Morgan

This pair met on set while filming the third season of The Vampire Diaries and then went on to create a short film together called Revelation. They didn’t say for sure that they were dating until 2013, but because they were seen together a lot, fans assumed they were. In 2014, they got married.

Vincent Kartheiser and Alexis Bledel met on the set of Mad Men in 2012. Bledel guest starred in 3 episodes as the mentally unhinged Beth Dawes who seduces Kartheiser’s sketchy character, Pete Campbell. The 2 have kept their romantic lives hidden from the public eye. Bledel and Kartheiser got married in 2014 and welcomed their first child in 2015.

6. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy Teigen met her now-soulmate during the filming of John Legend’s 2006 music video for “Stereo,” in which she played the leading role. The couple started officially dating in 2008 and haven’t separated since. Teigen said once in an interview that they broke up for one day, but it was a huge mistake, so they never did it again. In 2013, Legend and Teigen got married and they now have 2 children, Luna and Miles.

Claire Danes is probably best known for her role in William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet, even though her real life hasn’t paralleled a Shakespearean tragedy. Hugh Dancy and Danes originally met in 2007 on the set of Evening in Newport, and they began dating shortly thereafter. Danes and Dancy wed in France in 2009, announcing their marriage a few weeks later but keeping the details of their low-key ceremony secret.

The actress said, ’’Marriage is wonderful. It’s challenging, and... it just keeps getting deeper." The stars have 2 children together, Cyrus and Rowan.

8. Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig

In 2011, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz co-starred in the critical and financial flop, Dream House. However, this did not affect their love or prevent them from building their own ideal home. Craig and Weisz did not meet on set, which is an interesting fact. They had been friends for years before the release of the movie, began dating in 2010, and married in 2011 before the film’s release.

Ever since they got married, the couple has been known for keeping their relationship very private. They rarely talk about their private lives and fiercely protect their home and family.

9. Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

Following a steamy screen test in which the 2 performers read lines of dialogue as a “chemistry read,” the actors had their sights focused on one another. Once actual filming began, the pace accelerated.
After filming the very first episode of True Blood in 2007, the adorable pair began dating and were married in 2010. Today, they have 2 twins, Charlie and Poppy.
