11 Celebrities Whose Siblings’ Bond Is Stronger Than Any Competition
Siblings are those people with whom we grow up and in some ways represent a support system throughout our lives. Having an older sister or brother is like having a role model for most of us. And vice versa, those of us who are the oldest in the family feel the responsibility of caring for the youngest. However, like all relationships, there are always ups and downs.
We at Bright Side want to share these celebrities who show us that even when they are compared to their siblings, each one shines their light and celebrates the success of the other.
1. Bella and Gigi Hadid
Gigi and Bella Hadid are 2 of the most famous faces in the fashion industry today. Each one possesses a unique beauty, but despite this, Bella has felt the weight of comparisons with her sister from a very young age. At the age of 14, she had a nose job as a way to get rid of people’s comments about her appearance, which she now regrets “I wasn’t cool as Gigi, not as outgoing. That’s really what people said about me”.
However, despite having grown up with insecurities over comparisons of her to her older sister, Bella has always been very dedicated to her work, and Gigi has been there to support Bella. Whether it’s walking down a catwalk together, holding hands when hanging out, or sharing cute pictures on social media, the Hadid sisters prove that love is stronger than other people’s comments.
2. Kylie and Kendall Jenner
The Jenner sisters grew up in the spotlight of a family well-known by the media. And, as if that weren’t enough, the reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, has let in the opinions of thousands about their personal lives. Although they are very similar in age, Kylie and Kendall couldn’t be more different.
Kylie has explained that they rarely compete with each other due to having different goals. When she was a teenager, Kendall used to compare herself to Kylie because she had a larger group of friends. However, over time, they both found different paths. Now, Kendall is focused on her modeling career and Kylie builds her business empire, while both of them maintain a strong bond with each other.

As Dakota explains, she doesn’t want anyone else to be more successful in the Hollywood business than her younger sister, Elle. As children, they used to play games and perform movie scenes at home. But it is Elizabeth, their younger sister, who is making strides in the acting world.
Many people have questioned the Olsen sisters’ relationship, due to the fact that the 3 of them are rarely spotted together in public. But the truth is that they are actually very supportive of each other. Elizabeth has revealed that the twins have given her advice about acting and the right people to work in the industry.

The small age difference between these siblings is not a reason for any kind of rivalry. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal carry the movie gene, as their father is an esteemed film director. Jake remembers that he would go to see his sister Maggie when she acted in high school plays. His admiration for her talent began to awaken in him a desire to pursue the same dreams. Dave has said that as much as they share a mutual love for one another, he has had to distance himself from his brother so that, professionally, they can be taken seriously separately. However, in 2017, they shared the big screen in the film, The Disaster Artist, also produced by James Franco, earning them both a Golden Globe.
10. Beyoncé and Solange Knowles

When they were kids, their mom took them to sister therapy, so they could deal with any kind of feelings of jealousy. In addition, her mother made sure to spend quality one-on-one time with each of her daughters. All this early education and family love helped them build a strong bond no matter what.
11. Noah and Miley Cyrus
The youngest of the Cyrus family, Noah, has had to carry the weight of fame not only from her older sister Miley but also from her father, Billy Cyrus. Noah has addressed that growing up with a famous sister caused her to lose her identity when she was a child, “I was told that I’d amount to zero because of my sister’s accomplishments”. Being known as a celebrity sister made her feel like she was living in someone’s shadow until she decided to make a name for herself in the music industry.
