I hope that I will not feel pressures to look younger, beyond maybe hair dye. And I don’t know how I’ll feel when grey starts really coming in. I can count on 1 hand how many I’ve had. Most that naturally come in that are not brown are reddish, sparse but definitely red. I color my hair about once a year with a copper color, and she leaves my roots alone and blends the copper in further down, but not exactly balayage. I say now that I want long grey hair when it is natural for my hair.
10 Celebs Share the Reasons Why They Said “No” to Cosmetic Surgery, Even Those Who Have Gone Under the Knife

Aging is a natural part of life, but getting older in the spotlight isn’t easy. Many celebrities have changed beyond recognition after plastic surgery, but some refuse to alter their faces at all. And those who have done it may regret this decision. Despite pressure from Hollywood to look younger, many stars believe it’s better to learn to love your wrinkles.
We at <strong>Bright Side admire women who admit openly that there’s no escape from aging, even with plastic surgery, and these 10 stars explain why.
1. Meryl Streep
The Oscar-winning actress was often criticized for her looks, but she always decided against trying to stop time. Streep believes that getting Botox is like having “a flag in front of the view, and that, for an actor, is like wearing a veil — it’s not a good thing.” As she gets older, she embraces her age. “The good thing about getting older is that when they actually do cast you it’s often for something interesting,” she said.
2. Courteney Cox
The Friends star admits getting older in Hollywood has been tough for her. “I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse,” she shared. Many doctors suggested she get fillers and injections, and at some point, she wasn’t looking like herself anymore. “I’ve had all my fillers dissolved. I’m as natural as I can be. Those aren’t wrinkles — they’re smile lines,” Cox said.
3. Victoria Beckham
In 2017, Victoria Beckham wrote a letter to her 18-year-old self and admitted that she regrets getting breast implants. “I should probably say don’t mess with your boobs,” she wrote. The former Spice Girls star said it’s important to “let your skin breathe” and “celebrate what you’ve got.”
4. Dana Delany
5. Pink
The singer shared a series of “notes to self” on her Twitter account. “Dear Me, you’re getting older. I see lines,” she wrote. “Every once in a while you consider altering your face, and then you watch a show where you want to see what the person is feeling...and their face doesn’t move,” she continued. “I want my children to know what I look like when I’m angry.”
6. Halle Berry
The Oscar winner admits that, as an actress, she feels the pressure to alter her face, and the thoughts of Botox have crossed her mind. “I just have kept reminding myself that beauty really is as beauty does, and it is not so much about my physical self. Aging is natural, and that’s going to happen to all of us. I just want to always look like myself, even if that’s an older version of myself,” she said.
7. Julia Roberts
The famous actress and producer refuses to have plastic surgery. “It’s unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don’t even give themselves a chance to see what they’ll look like as older people,” Roberts said. “Your face tells a story...and it shouldn’t be a story about your drive to the doctor’s office.”
8. Emma Thompson
9. Cameron Diaz
Diaz admits that she’s tried Botox and still regrets it. “I’d rather see my face aging than a face that doesn’t belong to me at all,” she said. The actress shared that she loved her laugh lines. “Guess what this means — I’ve smiled my whole life.”
10. Gisele Bündchen
The supermodel and mother of 2 admits that she regrets getting breast implants. “I felt very vulnerable because I can work out and I can eat healthy, but I can’t change the fact that both of my kids enjoyed the left boob more than the right,” she said. When she woke up from the anesthesia, she immediately regretted her decision. “I was like, ‘What have I done?’ I felt like I was living in a body I didn’t recognize.”
Do you think it’s better to get a facelift or to let your skin age naturally? If you had the opportunity to change your appearance, what would you do?
