14 Celebrity Children Who Suddenly Grew Up and Are Already Following in Their Parents’ Footsteps

For some celebrity children, following the same career path as their famous parents is inevitable. And it usually has to do with their DNA as much as it does with their lifestyle. Some of these kids have gotten used to being in the spotlight almost from the minute they were born, while others stepped on the stage without much publicity at all.

1. Emme Maribel Muñiz

Jennifer Lopez’s daughter Emme is only 13 years old and she is already sharing the spotlight with her famous mom. She appeared in the music video for the song Limitless and she also demonstrated her singing talent in the live performance during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Her father is Puerto Rican music star Marc Anthony, and her mother admits that Emme has “her daddy’s voice.”

2. Lilly Rose Depp

The 22-year-old daughter of Hollywood legend Johnny Depp and French singer, model, and actress, Vanessa Paradis is a model and actress herself. Her acting debut was a small role in the movie Tusk (2014) and she went on to appear in The Dancer and A Faithful Man, which brought Lily Rose a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress in 2018. She has also been also a brand ambassador for Chanel since 2015.

3. Mia Honey Threapleton

The 21-year-old daughter of Kate Winslet recently starred in her first movie called Shadows. Since she doesn’t share a surname with her mom, she is able to build her acting career more independently. Commenting on her daughter’s career choice, her mother admitted that it’s a wonderful thing and that she has ’’always suspected’’ that Mia would become an actress.

4. North West

The 8-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian debuted on stage last year. Little North joined her father during his performance and stepped into the world of rap. She also became a TikTok sensation after she posted a video without her parents’ permission.

5. Kaia Gerber

Cindy Crawford’s 20-year-old daughter Kaia decided to pursue a career in fashion modeling, just like her supermodel mom. Her debut was in the 2017 Fashion Week shows and she has continued to appear in a number of ad campaigns for famous fashion brands. As a teenager, back in 2018, she won the Model of the Year Award.

6. Blue Ivy Carter

Even though she’s only 10, Beyonce’s and Jay-Z’s daughter has already collected a number of awards for her singing performances. In 2020, she joined her mom on the track “Brown Skin Girl” and she is also the youngest recipient of a BET Award.

7. Willow Sage Hart

P!nk’s 10-year-old daughter Willow is not shy when it comes to sharing her singing talent with everyone. She sang on Pink’s album “The Truth About Love” and appeared in some of her mom’s music videos. Judging by the songs she and her mom have recorded so far, Willow’s got everything it takes to become a music star.

8. Jaden and Willow Smith

Will Smith’s kids are blessed with singing and acting talents. Jaden, the 24-year old son of the famous actor had his movie debut back in 2006 when he starred alongside his famous dad. After taking a short break from acting to focus on his musical career, he returned to making movies. His younger sister Willow is also a successful singer, dancer, and actress.

9. Romeo Beckham

The son of Victoria and David Beckham is a professional soccer player. At one point, he couldn’t decide between tennis and soccer but later made up his mind and decided to follow in his father’s footsteps.

10. Lila Grace Moss

Just like her famous mom, Kate Moss, Lila decided to become a fashion model. Although she is only 19, her career is already blossoming.

11. Mercy James

Despite being raised by the Queen of Pop, Madonna’s teenage daughter Mercy appears to have developed a love for classical music. She wowed millions of Madonna’s fans after footage of her playing Mozart was published on Facebook.

12. Maya Hawke

There is no doubt that the talented actress and musician Maya Hawke inherited only the best from her famous parents: Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. She is starring in Stranger Things and we also remember her from Quentin Tarantino’s movie Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

13. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt

As the first biological daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh became a star right after she was born, appearing in the headlines of all major magazines. As a baby, she appeared in the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and later in Kung Fu Panda 3. Shiloh is also a regular at red carpet events. Recently she’s shown interest in humanitarianism, just like her mother.

14. Liv and Caleb Freundlich

Both of Julianne Moore’s kids, Caleb (24) and Liv (19) are into acting. Liv is best known for appearing in the comedy Trust the Man and for her small role in Rebound, but she is also a passionate activist. Her older brother Caleb joined his mom in the 2014 hit film Still Alice.
