Chuck Norris Accepts His Love Child After 26 Years of Not Knowing Her: “I Didn’t Need DNA”

Chuck Norris, 83, was enjoying his retirement with his family when the big news hit. The actor discovered that he had a love child after 26 years, and he’s accepting her with open arms despite not having known about her earlier. Read on to learn the whole story.

Chuck Norris and his first wife, Dianne Holechek, were high school sweethearts. Norris wasted no time asking her out on a date, and their romance quickly blossomed. They married in December 1958, just 6 months after he graduated from North Torrance High School.

They were happily married for 30 years and had 2 sons, Mike, 60, and Eric, 57. Despite their divorce in 1988, Norris still speaks highly of Holechek, saying she always supported his goals and never complained, even when they were struggling financially.

“She has always been very supportive of my goals. She never complained, even when we were scrimping and scraping,” Norris explained.

The story behind his love child

In his 2004 biography, Norris shocked fans by confessing he had a love child. He admitted to cheating on his first wife, Holechek, in 1962, and a daughter named Dina Morris was born from the affair. Norris was unaware of Dina’s existence until she reached out to him in 1991, 26 years after she was born, claiming to be his biological daughter.

Norris had a brief fling with a woman named Johanna while stationed in California with the US Air Force. Their passionate encounter in the back of a car resulted in the birth of Dina Norris. Norris revealed that he still feels ashamed about lying to Dina’s mother, Johanna. “To my shame, I never told Johanna that I was married,” Norris confessed.

Despite her mother’s advice, Dina Norris persisted and eventually reached out to Norris. He agreed to meet with her and her mom, and their emotional reunion was unforgettable.

Norris fondly recalled the moment, saying, “I didn’t need DNA or blood tests.” Instead, he simply hugged her, and both of them cried. Norris said that at that moment, it felt as if he had known her all his life. This reunion strengthened their bond as father and daughter, and their relationship has continued to thrive.

Now, the retired actor has a lovely family and enjoys life

Norris is currently married to Gena O’Kelley, whom he wed in 1998. Together, they have 2 children, Danilee and Dakota. Norris has spoken about how his wife has grounded his life, and they have a harmonious relationship despite their 23-year age gap.
