Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are Officially Married, Proving That True Love Can Withstand Being Lost and Found Again

Bennifer’s love saga has been going on for over 20 years. They were right when they said, “All you need is love” and the couple seems to be living proof of that. Thus after a very long wait, the Hollywood stars watched their dream and that of their fans eventually become a reality, proving there’s much more long-lasting love in La La Land than one would think.

After rekindling their romance last year, and announcing their engagement in April 2022, nearly 18 years after they originally called off their commitment, the Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, obtained a marriage license on which Lopez was identified as Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

The nuptials weekend took place in Nevada, the wedding capital of the world, with a small wedding ceremony at Vegas’ iconic Little White Wedding Chapel, accompanied by their children from previous relationships.

For her big day, the Marry Me singer/actress wore a white off-the-shoulder design from the Zuhair Murad Bridal Spring Summer 2023 Collection featuring long sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and fishtail train paired with a long flowing veil with lace.

Besides the main wedding gown, she also donned a cute sleeveless boatneck dress for the occasion, a dress from an old movie which she’s been saving in her closet for too long. And to complement her look, the bride rocked her usual glamourous bronzy glow, soft smoky eye, and nude lip, and opted to style her hair in big bouncy-curls. As for the handsome groom, he simply sported a white tuxedo jacket from his closet, paired with a black bowtie and matching slacks.

Afterward, the newlyweds had a small photoshoot session in a pink Cadillac convertible, once used by Elvis.

Finally, the morning after the nuptials, the beautiful bride shared a selfie in bed wearing her new wedding ring with a beaming smile on her face.

According to Lopez, the connection they have is different now compared to 18 years ago, as she claims, “We’re older now, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.” In fact, the star shares twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, whereas Ben has 3 kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. And the star added, “We’re just operating from a place of love and respect for everyone in our lives.”

This heartwarming happening shows us that second chances in love come with benefits, those of appreciating the other person more and not taking what we have for granted, as JLo claimed, “It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.” The star then added, “We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”

On a different note, the Argo actor/director also agrees that he feels “lucky” to have been given a second chance, both in his work and personal life.

The couple might have gone low-key by exchanging vows in Vegas, however they are still taking things up to A-list level with a big private party to celebrate their love in the near future, and we can’t wait to hear all about it.
