Jessie J Reveals Her Baby Son’s Name as He Turns 1-Month-Old

Jessie J found a way to make the celebration of the 1-month anniversary of her baby boy special for everyone who follows her on social media. The British singer, who hadn’t yet revealed any information about the child publicly, finally shared his name on Instagram. And it’s a beautiful one!

This is her first child.

Jessie J, well-known for her hit single Price Tag, told the world her baby son’s name with an extra special Instagram post. She captioned a photo of her kid wearing a sweater with “smile” on it with his full name: Sky Safir Cornish Colman. The name features both the singer and her partner’s surname, Cornish and Colman respectively, as her birth name is Jessica Ellen Cornish.

On June 11, 2023, one day before Sky’s birthday, Jessie shared an Instagram reel that documented her and her boyfriend’s first steps in parenthood. The video, full of emotional moments such as Jessie holding her baby for the first time, was posted with a meaningful caption as well. “Tomorrow you are a month old. It’s felt like one long best day of my entire life,” she wrote. “Mummy and Daddy love you more than anything in this world baby boy.”

In the caption, she also made room for a message directed to her followers. “And if you have followed my journey you would have often shared in my pain. Please join me in sharing in my joy”, she added.

The singer first met her partner in 2021.

Jessie J has been dating Chanan Safir Colman, a Danish professional basketball player. Although it’s unclear how long the two have been in a relationship, the 35-year-old singer admitted she met him shortly after having a miscarriage in November, 2021. “It was a whirlwind love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue during,” she said. “Grateful doesn’t cut it.”

Jessie J has been upfront about her journey to motherhood and how she struggled after having a miscarriage. However, she isn’t the only celebrity who’s been honest about infertility issues. One well-known actress in particular even revealed that her own problems sent her into clinical depression, but her story and others’ are nothing but inspiring.
