Eugene’s and Jack’s story resembles a fairytale
Princess Eugenie, 32, is King Charles’s niece and granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth. She is married to businessman Jack Brooksbank. Jack proposed to Eugene on the bank of a lake during their trip to Nicaragua. He did his best to make the moment unforgettable.
“The lake was so beautiful. I actually said, ‘This is an incredible moment,’ and then he popped the question, which was really surprising. I was over the moon. It was the perfect moment. We couldn’t be happier,” said the Princess, opening up during an interview.
The royals will be welcoming their new baby this summer.
The couple shares a son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in 2021. Their second child will be the late Queen Elizabeth’s 13th great-grandchild and will take their place in the line of succession to the throne. They will be 13th, right after their older brother.
The baby will be the first grand-grandchild of the late Queen born after her passing.
Princess Eugenie feels deep affection for her late grandmother. Eugenie and her sister Beatrice published the touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth. “You were our matriarch, our guide, our loving hand on our backs leading us through this world. You taught us so much, and we will cherish those lessons and memories forever,” the Princesses posted.
