Dylan Mulvaney, a well-known transgender TikTok creator, received the Woman of the Year award from a famous UK magazine. While the LGBTQ+ community and Dylan’s fans could not be more proud of her achievement, some people are unhappy with the decision.

It was Attitude Magazine’s first-ever Woman of the Year Award.

The UK-based magazine celebrated Dylan Mulvaney by presenting her with the Woman of the Year award. It was Attitude Magazine’s first award of this kind. During her acceptance speech, Dylan expressed her happiness in receiving the award in the United Kingdom, noting that her visit to London had provided her with a sense of freedom and acceptance.

She also added that the honor means so much more as some people don’t think of her as a woman at all. Dylan started her transition journey to a woman in 2022.

Her transition and rise to popularity.

Dylan Mulvaney has openly shared her transition journey on TikTok in a series called “Days of Girlhood.” Dylan’s TikTok series documenting her transition garnered immense popularity worldwide, amassing 1.8 million followers on Instagram and 10.5 million on TikTok.

Rikkie Valerie Kolle, a trans model, recently made similar headlines when she won Miss Netherlands and will now compete for Miss Universe 2023. Read her inspiring story here.
