What 10 of Our Favorite ’90s Legends Are Doing Today
We remember with nostalgia those years we danced to music videos on TV or rushed home to watch an episode of our favorite series. In the 1990s, we couldn’t imagine the Internet would allow us to watch anything at any time. However, this decade gave us plenty of memorable pop culture personalities, from boy bands and athletes to sitcom stars that captured millions of hearts.
Many of these ’90s icons still entertain their fans, while some have moved on to other endeavors. In this article, we’ll look at what some of our favorite ’90s stars are up to now and how they’ve continued to shape today’s culture.
1. NSYNC
This boy band gained tremendous popularity at the end of the 1990s. The group stopped releasing new music after 2001. The boys occasionally appeared at various events, but their short on-stage reunion in 2013 proved they could still melt the hearts of millions of ’90s kids.
The members of the band tried their hands at new ventures. Justin Timberlake is famous for his solo music and acting career. Lance Bass is a producer, radio host, reality show contestant, and LGBT rights activist. JC Chasez is a producer and reality show judge. Joey Fatone appears on TV as both a host and a show contestant. Chris Kirkpatrick works as a voice actor, songwriter, and producer.
2. Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore became popular as a teenage pop singer in 1999. Later, she successfully began her acting career. Most recently, she starred in the hit TV series, This Is Us. In addition to acting, she has also released 7 albums, including her latest, In Real Life, and lent her voice to princess Rapunzel in Disney’s Tangled. 6. Jennifer Connelly
The Labyrinth star is still working hard at her illustrious acting career. She has been starring in movies since the mid-’80s. Over more recent years, the actress has tried her luck acting in various TV series. In 2023, a new season of her latest show, Snowpiercer, will be released. Connelly has been married to actor Paul Bettany for 2 decades, and the couple shares 2 children.
7. Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt is currently starring as Maddie Buckley in the Fox drama series, 9-1-1. In addition to her acting career, the I Know What You Did Last Summer star is also a writer and has authored a bestseller called The Day I Shot Cupid. Hewitt also worked as a producer and director, but her musical career was put on pause nearly 2 decades ago.

In 2015, after a long hiatus caused by a serious health condition, she came back in a blaze of glory during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. She has also been featured on several tracks in recent years and is known for her active involvement in charity work.
