The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Series Is About to Turn 30, This Is What the Cast Looks Like Today

We all remember the opening song that stayed in our heads all day: Will Smith looking for trouble on the basketball court, and then arriving at his uncle’s mansion dressed as a tourist in a taxi (with a right to that mark on his head).

In September 2020, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air series celebrates its 30th anniversary. It’s amazing how fast time goes by. And that happens to all of us.

You may notice that 2 of the actors don’t have very recent photos and this is due to some changes in their lives.

The first of them, actor James Avery, our acclaimed Uncle Phil, died in the early hours of December 31, 2013, at a hospital in California due to some complications following heart surgery. Other actors, like Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) and Tatyana Ali (Ashley), posted beautiful tributes to him on their social networks.

The second, the actress who played Aunt Vivian, Janet Hubert-Whitten, had to withdraw from the series after having some disagreements with leading actor Will Smith.
