The 74-year-old rocker announced that he is retiring from touring because he is too weak to perform. Osbourne has been battling various health problems in recent years, and he took to Instagram to break the news to his loving fans, saying, ’’This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans.’’ Our hearts are with Osbourne and his family.

He made a heartbreaking announcement.

In his sincere Instagram message, the musician expressed regret for letting down his fans and acknowledged, ’’Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.’’

He opened up about ongoing health issues, 7 months after undergoing surgery on his spine to prevent paralysis and in the midst of his battle with Parkinson’s disease.

"As you may all know, 4 years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine,’’ Osbourne explained. ’’My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, [...] my body is still physically weak.’’

The rocker also made sure to praise his fans for their devotion and thanked them for ’’giving me the life that I never ever dreamed I would have.’’ He wrote, ’’I am honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I’m not physically capable...’’

He’s been dealing with serious health issues for some time.

The musician was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 but only made it public in 2020. He had revealed that he’s been having mobility problems, and once explained, ’’You think you’re lifting your feet, but your foot doesn’t move.’’ And the previous year, he underwent a significant operation to remove and reposition pins in his neck and back.

It is disheartening that we will no longer have the opportunity to see Osbourne perform on stages globally, however, his health and well-being are what matter the most.

I wish him all the best in the world and hope he just takes time to relax and enjoy himself in the life he worked to make for himself. I hope he can spend time doing what he loves and enjoys his family.
