Does number 7 even count as a cosmetic surgery?
8 Male Stars Who Underwent Cosmetic Treatments and Aren’t Ashamed to Talk About It
It is very rare to hear a celebrity talk about getting touch-ups to get rid of physical “imperfections” or for other health reasons. The latter is what happened with retired baseball player Sammy Sosa, who surprised many with his new skin tone that he got from creams to treat direct sun exposure of 20 years. There are also more extreme cases, such as Kanye West, who feared being made fun of for being fat and ended up undergoing liposuction.
Bright Side did some research on celebrities who went under the knife along with the reasons why they did it, and we came up with a list of 8 iconic cases with “before and after” pics.
1. Kanye West
The controversial rapper chatted with TMZ in 2018 and confessed he had to use liposuction in 2016 to lose weight. In West’s own words, he underwent cosmetic surgery in order to improve his appearance because he was afraid of being called fat.
2. Sammy Sosa
Sammy Sosa was a professional baseball player who gained popularity in the late 1990s. Loved and respected by many fans due to his success as an athlete, he surprised his entire fanbase when he appeared at an award ceremony with a different skin tone. Sosa said that the whitening of his skin was due to a cream he used that contained bleach.
3. Mickey Rourke
Mickey Rourke is a renowned Hollywood actor who has undergone surgery several times. His taste for plastic surgery goes hand in hand with his passion for boxing, a sport in which he has twice broken his nose and snapped his cheekbones. Due to his acting career, he would get quick surgical fixes for his injuries. He has also had a facelift done, received injections in his lips, and has gotten nose jobs.
4. Simon Cowell
The controversial judge from programs like The X Factor and America’s Got Talent is another example of someone who isn’t afraid of cosmetic surgery. Some British media outlets claim that Cowell started using Botox injections in 2009 and, as the years went by, he started getting more touch-ups, including a facelift.
5. Sylvester Stallone
Stallone has undergone a huge transformation over the years. In fact, he’s one of the few celebrities who spoke openly about the subject back in the 1990s. “Why not do it?” he said about the surgeries to People.
It turns out that when Stallone’s mom was giving birth, the doctor used forceps to deliver him, and the nerves on the left side of his face, as a baby, were destroyed, leaving him with a crooked mouth. The story continued when Stallone lost weight for Rocky, which made this facial feature more noticeable. It then became clear that he could only change it with surgery. But things didn’t stop there. Some sites specializing in this type of treatment have noted that Stallone may have had other things done.
6. Josh Hutcherson
“Just had surgery to fix my broken nose...” was part of the message posted by The Hunger Games actor on Twitter in 2012. However, his rep corrected the information, saying that the surgery was to repair his deviated septum.
7. Enrique Iglesias
Fans who have been following Enrique Iglesias since his early days know that the Spaniard had a mole on his face. However, Iglesias went to a specialist to remove it just in case it could be cancerous. The procedure was not done for aesthetic reasons, but for health, and it only took 5 minutes.
8. Gene Simmons
The rock star is a self-confessed fanatic of plastic surgery, which he has undergone along with his wife, Shannon Tweed. So far, he has hoisted his jowls, tweaked his eyelids, and liposucked his pecs, among other procedures.
How do you think these celebrities feel about cosmetic surgery and treatments? What retouching would you like to have done?

I think it's very clear that Stallone did other things to his face. It's not that hard to tell
I didn't know about Simon, I guess some people just do it way to much and some don't
