Adele Sparks Engagement Rumors, but Baby Plans Take Center Stage

Adele’s appearance on the Graham Norton Show has been the talk of the town, and for good reason. The singer-songwriter showed up in a stunning diamond ring that had everyone buzzing. But it wasn’t just her jewelry that caught everyone’s attention. Adele’s comments during the show sparked rumors about her plans to have a second child.

It started when Graham Norton asked Adele about the new dates for her Las Vegas residency.

During her appearance on the Graham Norton Show, Adele discussed her postponed Las Vegas residency dates. She assured fans that they were definitely happening. Interestingly, Adele also hinted at her plans for the future by mentioning her desire to have another child the following year.

She candidly spoke about wanting more children.

Adele shares son Angelo Adkins with former partner Simon Konecki. “I will be disappearing in terms of my music, but you might see a glimpse of me now and then, and I won’t be in complete hiding,” she explained. “It takes me a while to recharge, and I would like to have more children — I only just feel like I’ve caught up with my sleep from 9 years ago when I had my son.”

“I have plans next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!” she added.

She coyly dodged engagement rumors.

During the episode, Adele wore a large diamond ring on her finger, sparking rumors of an engagement with her boyfriend, Rich Paul, a sports agent. Host Graham Norton brought up these rumors during their conversation on his show. However, when asked directly about her relationship status, Adele refused to confirm or deny whether she and Paul have taken their relationship to the next level.

“As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t,” she said when the host asked her if she got engaged. “It’s lovely, though, isn’t it?” she added, showing off the ring.

Adele keeps her family life very private.

It wasn’t until July 2021 that Adele made her first public appearance with her rumored boyfriend, Paul. Before this, she had kept her relationship with Paul very private, and there had only been rumors and speculation about the 2 being together.

Her son, Angelo, was born in 2012, and she has always kept a low profile regarding his life. She has spoken about motherhood in interviews but does not reveal too many details about her son’s life or upbringing. The singer once said that being a mother has profoundly impacted her life and music, and she often dedicates her performances and awards to Angelo.

It’s true that in recent years, the musician has shared some posts on social media that give glimpses into her personal life. However, she still maintains a level of privacy by being selective about what she shares and when she shares it.
