I've always seen her as an ideal of beauty and elegance
Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, Got Real About Her Insecurities and the One Regret That She Can’t Let Go Of

It’s hard to imagine someone as gorgeous and successful as Catherine Zeta-Jones having any doubts about her appearance. But it just goes to show that even the most seemingly perfect people have their struggles. And about regrets, well, we all have ours, but Catherine’s did touch our hearts.
Turns out, Catherine has insecurities.
Catherine Zeta-Jones, the stunning Welsh actress, made a surprising revelation. Despite being one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, the 53-year-old actress confessed that she has insecurities, just like anyone else. Zeta-Jones admits that topping lists for the “most beautiful” women has its pressures. She explains, “Oh, always. When I read a script and the character’s description has the prefix of ’beautiful, stunning, gorgeous,’ it’s always intimidating.”
Despite her successful career in Hollywood and her reputation as a stunning actress, Zeta-Jones confesses that she never considered herself gorgeous. “Personally, I would never consider myself a great beauty, but my mother always told me to make the best of myself,” she noted.
With time and experience, she has been able to embrace her natural beauty.

When asked about pretending to be someone else, the Wednesday actress shared that she sometimes needs to exude confidence while walking the red carpet, despite having insecurities: “There’s a confidence I’ve sometimes had to put on when I walk down a red carpet. I have my insecurities like every other woman.”
Catherine shared that, with age, she has developed a greater sense of self-assurance when it comes to her physical appearance. She stated, “But as I’ve got older, I’ve got much more confident about the way I look.”
Most importantly, she always has her family’s back.
Zeta-Jones, who starred in The Mask of Zorro, is married to American actor Michael Douglas, and they have 2 children together: son Dylan, who is 22 years old, and daughter Carys, who is 20. Zeta-Jones stated that she married Michael Douglas, who was known as Hollywood royalty because of his father, Kirk Douglas. She added that this perception has played a role in her choice of red-carpet looks.
In an interview, Catherine Zeta-Jones expressed gratitude for the support she received from her family as she embarked on a new project. The actress revealed that working with her husband on the project was a gift and that her children have been incredibly supportive of her in her career and in her personal life. Zeta-Jones described her relationship with her family as “very close,” and said that she felt blessed to have them in her life.
She shared that she regrets losing a role she really wanted to play.
Catherine Zeta-Jones has expressed regret about a role she never had the chance to play. Despite her successful acting career, the Welsh actress revealed that the role she had always coveted was that of 007 in the James Bond franchise.
Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared her regret at never getting the chance to play James Bond, a role she would have loved to have played. She revealed that Sean Connery, her co-star in the movie Entrapment, once told her that she would have made a great Bond girl. Zeta-Jones responded by saying, “I would have loved to have played Bond!”
Despite not getting the chance to play a girl Bond, or Bond himself, Zeta-Jones has had a successful career and continues to star in a variety of films and television shows.
