In 2016, he started dating Jenny Slate. They started off as friends, but eventually broke it off in 2017 due to Chris’s fame. Jenny stated that she had more freedom than him because she wasn’t Captain America, and she was “mostly a cartoon. This is what I needed to do to feel normal. To be alone.”

For the most part, Chris kept his next relationships more private than the previous ones. In 2020, he was spotted with Lily James, but she didn’t want to open up about their times together.
