Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have unveiled the unique name of their second son, a month following the singer’s delivery. The choice of the name could be a subtle reference to A$AP’s recent track ’Riot’.

The couple, consisting of the 35-year-old Diamonds hitmaker and the 34-year-old rapper, has chosen to name their newborn son Riot Rose Mayers. According to the birth certificate obtained by the publication, Riot made his entrance into the world on August 1, 2023, at 7:41 a.m., at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

In keeping with their tradition of selecting names that begin with the letter ’R’, the couple had previously named their first son, born in May 2022, RZA Athelston Mayers. As for when the proud parents will decide to reveal images of their newest family member, that remains to be seen.

Rihanna had previously shared pictures of RZA seven months after his birth. Last month, reports emerged confirming the arrival of the couple’s second child.

The choice of the name RZA for their first son pays homage to the renowned producer and rapper RZA, aged 54, who serves as the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan and goes by the name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs. Additionally, it also honors A$AP’s own middle name.
